A relatively old blog came across our radar last week – 8-bit City takes a very good and hard look at the Cape Town hipster scene and does a pretty good job of giving it a thrashing. cape town loves gritty, edgy, underground(vomit). cevron fingered those ‘imsointerestings’ who screengrab clockwork orange outfit ideas for the next assembly gig. ok, cool – gritty edgy underground. it didn’t take him/her/it/they long to be equally self-involved. cervron’s latest cop our; memoirs of a self stalker. too much undeserved attention. tracing people’s responses to some flash in the pan blog is not clever/funny/cool. its as lame and self-involved as the ‘imsointerestings’. you are not banksy cevron. you are an ‘imsointeresting’.
