Bree Street Burning – Brett Rubin loses studio

Over the weekend there was a massive fire in one of Cape Town’s historic buildings in Bree Street. Not only did we lose a beautiful, historic building, but the fire also hit the very talented Brett Rubin’s studio. Lindi Schwella is an intern at Brett and was in the studio when the fire was started by the take away restaurant downstairs. We’re fortunate to have had a photographer on hand to capture the scene, but it’s very unfortunate that Brett has lost his studio. Read more about the fire here.
