On 24 May, Saatchi & Saatchi Cape Town launched their ambient campaign for the Save Our Seas Foundation on Muizenberg Beach. The campaign, which rolled out over three days, created awareness about the plight of our oceans and tried to inspire people to take positive action to help Save our Seas. The idea behind the campaign was to give the ocean a voice. Shells with pre-recorded audio messages from the sea, messages in bottles written from the point of view of sea creatures and a coffin with a plaque that reads “Every minute 208 dolphins drown in fishing nets. Be part of the solution” all worked together to create a memorable and thought-provoking message.
