Pretty sure I remember a time when there was actually a sense of shame in ripping something off, or at least being found out. As apposed to being called an artist.
hmm / i wonder why this is on a “creative showcase” .. has this been done for a ad before ? the link above is to artwork, not an ad. I don’t see anything wrong with using a style to create a ad as long as its hasn’t been used to promote something.. its not overly original.
Dylan, if we’re allowed to copy artworks and other media created outside of the industry, then why bother hiring people who are supposed to come up with original creative work? Why don’t I just hire a 14 year old to trawl the internet for cool stuff? It’d certainly be a lot cheaper.
