A short while ago we featured the Nike Kronk range – a range of Nike sportswear that was done in collaboration with Kronk, who we believe to be one of South Africa’s best illustrators. Check out some pics from the range in the gallery and click through for the full post. Check out The Nike Fanpage for more info as well.
They say:
Nike South Africa unveiled its first collaboration with none other than the Cape Town based emerging artist Kronk. This collaboration has made global waves, with artists the world over representing their respective countries. Kronk has taken South African culture to the world with his innovative mascot, crest and type face and showcasing the spirit of Africa and its love for the game.
At the launch event the other night, Itumeleng Khune, Teko Modise and Siphiwe Tshabalala all shared this moment with Kronk and officially unveiled the collaboration. Nike is asking fans in South Africa to “Bleed your Colours” and show your support for both the sport and the passion behind it.
