It’s not everyday you get assigned to roam Mauritius for 5 days and can call it a job. Freelance designer Brian Bainbridge called on South African photographer Guy Neveling and his assistant Paul Cocks to do just that and to bring him shots of the island. The brief being – stay away from touristy images and capture the texture of Mauritius. The photos are being used for the redesign and massive worldwide relaunch of an over 170 year old, Mauritian based company. The new photographic direction being a bold move. The photos will be published in a 20 – 30 page book of which these are a small selection.
