March brings a rare opportunity for SA art lovers to see the work of The Trinity Session up close. The Trinity Session is a 10-year-old art collaboration between local artist, cultural activist and producer, Marcus Neustetter and video, installation, photography and scultpure artist Stephen Hobbs, who spend much of their time abroad.
Selections of their work created during their ten years of working together will be on display in this review exhibition at 281 Commissioner Street, Joburg. The venue is soon to be branded as the Museum of African Design (MOAD), a bold addition to the Maboneng Precinct. As much of their work is experiential, the unique venue will play host to an exhibition made up of light. Video, photography, mind maps and artifacts from a dense archive of research will be transformed onto large projection surfaces.
Dates: Friday 16 March – Sunday 25 March 2012
Times: 19h00 – 22h00 (Daily)
Venue: 281 Commissioner Street, Maboneng Precinct, Johannesburg
