Sobeit studio, owned by Bartel van Vuuren & Liezle Fourie, are creators of the unusual, the playful, the weird and wonderful. Think Cupie Doll candles, flamingo martini tables and skull pot plants, all made at their Muizenberg studio and on display in their gallery.
They say, “We create decor, objets de’art and jewelry to die for. Â Already well known for our “looking glass” mirror range incorporating cool little toy animals and our supercool candle range, we also create wondrous interiors filled with custom creations. Our style is highly adaptable and versatile yet distinctly our own. We move with trends but do not subscribe or hold back. Oh…and we love our things.”
They rent out part of their space to talented artists – jewelers, a photographer, graphic designer & fashion designer – so are constantly surrounding by creative people.
