From the 22nd to the 24th of March, Samsung Electronics Africa is bringing its Las Vegas CES exhibition to Cape Town for a three-day technology spectacular. Samsung will show off its Smart Technology and will announce new Samsung products for South Africa to dealers, media and businesses.
After the conference, Samsung will host Connect Cape Town, an exciting one day event which will be open to the public and free! The event promises the latest technology innovations, live music performances, art shows and international chef demos.

The centre of Connect Cape Town will be a main stage with performances from music groups Tumi and the Volume, Aking and Auriol Hays. Using Samsung technology, these performances will be streamed to satellite stage areas at the V&A Waterfront and Canal Walk shopping centres. Fans will also be able to view the shows on Connect Cape Townâ€™s Facebook page.
These music performances will be interspersed by one-hour demos from celebrated chefs, Jodi-Ann Pearto, Kylie Debbo, Craig Cormack and Rudi Liebenburg. DJs Dean Fuel, Tommy Gun and Ricky H will also be spinning the decks.
Four activation areas will excite including a kitchen appliances zone, where the chefs will link culinary creations and technology, studio areas where fashion photographers Michael Edwards and Julian Goldswain will take professionally lit Facebook profile pics and a T-shirt design printing area where local artists Jaco Haasbroek, Daniel Ting Chong and Jordan Metcalf will be found.
