There is always a lot of talk, and opinion, about the campaign for the annual Loerie Awards, done by a different ad agency each year. This year’s campaign calls for citizens within the communications industry to rise up, mobilise and exercise their right for great creative work. ‘Viva African Creativity. Viva’.
The campaign was created by The Jupiter Drawing Room Johannesburg and Bouffant who have written a manifesto ‘based on a vision of an alternate industry, one where creativity is fair and equal’ called the Creative Freedom Charter.
As part of the launch of the campaign, the Creative Freedom Charter will be delivered to top advertising agencies and clients in Joburg today. Take a look at their Facebook page for the routes and times.
