PowerPlay Heroes Campaign - Between 10 and 5

PowerPlay Heroes Campaign

This new campaign for PowerPlay energy drink will be a series of collaborations with carefully selected creatives. This league of local talents is known as the PowerPlay Heroes.

They are: Cape Town-based clothing company, Head Honcho, founded by Nick Kaoma and Mzoxolo Gcwabe; 1808 Arts and Culture Sessions started by Tshidiso Maduna and Girland Masola; Akio Kawahito aka DJ Akio; Thesis Social Jam Sessions; Andile Cele of Dope Store; Kenneth Nzama aka DJ Kenzhero and photographer Max Mogale.

Each was chosen for leading the way in their industries of art, fashion, music, poetry and retro-style in South Africa. PowerPlay feels they embody the brand through their bold approach to business, life and community.

PowerPlay will be fuelling the partnership with the seven PowerPlay Heroes through a 48-hour exhibition festival of street culture, called Griffin Sessions: The quest of Heroes, scheduled for the end of June 2012 at The Bus Factory, in Newtown. As part of the build-up, the PowerPlay Heroes will host sneak preview events in both Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Documentaries about the PowerPlay Heroes will be aired on VuzuTV and Channel O as well as on the PowerPlay website – www.playheroes.co.za.

You can follow the campaign on twitter at @playenergydrink.

I’m just wondering where the PowerPlay Heroines are?
