Limited edition Fieldcandy tent
Previously a senior designer at HelloComputer, Cape Town designer/illustrator Si Maclennan has now gone independent. Along with the move, he’s updated his portfolio with some really great new work, showing off his talent and hard work.
Si says, “I’ve always wanted to move into a routine where I can do more of what I love. Understanding how an agency works is important, but after a while you need to do what makes you happy. You can learn a lot working for a big agency, but it can also be draining – When your work excites you, good things happen.”
Si is currently busy with a new project for local design company, Mingo Lamberti, another illustrated tent for UK-based Fieldcandy and has lots more in the pipeline.
