Creative Women | Carmen Ziervogel

Throughout August we’re featuring our favourite creative women in South Africa. Carmen Ziervogel is a freelance illustrator based in Cape Town who works in a range of styles including digital painting, hand drawn, technical and vector.

We’ve been long time fans of her versatile style which she effortlessly alters depending on the job at hand, most being for advertising and print work. Currently, Carmen is working on a toy catalogue for Christmas, a chocolate wrapper, some storyboarding and proactive work.

When asked about her inspirations, she said, “My taste changes so quickly regarding inspiration, but at the moment, visually I admire Jen Lobo and Marion Peck.”
