Petite Noir by Danielle Clough for Rolling Stone SA

Danielle Clough

Danielle Clough recently shot these portraits of Yannick Ilunga aka Petite Noir for a Rolling Stone SA pitch with writer Phumlani Pikoli.

The series of images was shot on both digital and film, using natural and tungsten light. Danielle says the impromptu shoot was made possible with a ladder, rolls of fabric, two pieces of wood and Phumlani’s assistance. Scroll down to the last pic to get the idea.

Rolling Stone SA published the article. Read the story, The New Congolese Cool, and see the pics in print their September issue.
