Rowan Toselli is a freelance designer and art director who also spends time making beautifully crafted wooden characters. He was born in 1988 and says he spent most of his childhood counting acorns and drawing with wax crayons at a Waldorf school.
After school, Rowan studied Graphic Design at the University of Johannesburg where he graduated in 2010. He has worked for various agencies including Hello World Agency and Yellowwood but the majority of his portfolio work was created as part of the Nicework team as a designer. Rowan says he enjoys rock climbing, character design, drinking tea and doodling monsters. We enjoy his creations.

That wooden character is incredible.
I went to UJ with Rowan and we were in the same class for about two years. What was always cool about him is that 99% of the time he was always doing his own sh*t and briefs were like leaves in the wind to him. His work here still reflects this and I still dig it. Congrats buddy!
