B-grade Horror Movie Posters for Ogilvyearth

The “go green” advertising trend has created a monster, causing certain brands to hide behind environmentally friendly lingo even though their business practices are far from it.

The idea behind this poster series for Ogilvyearth was to portray that green washing is as predictable as any B-grade Horror movie. The team had a look at some old school movie posters from the 40s, 50s and 60s and took inspiration from the sensationalist communication and design to portray their environmental message in an unexpected way.

Ogilvyearth partners with brands to use sustainability to drive brand value, achieve long-term growth and increase profits.

A fresh take on predictable and boring green communication. I’d love to see these at cinemas.

What have these guys actually added to the original artwork? I cant really see anything apart from the copy…Feels very forced and lazy.
