We’ve featured work of Clement de Bruin’s many times as part of advertising campaigns livened up with his characters or exhibitions showcasing his skills. Clement studied Graphic Design at CPUT before refining his craft for a year and a half at Am I Collective.
Now, still based in Cape Town, he works as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. Clement is influenced by his city and the people in it, but also by movies and vintage cartoons. His edgy, colourful work is seen executed in a host of styles and mediums depending on the task at hand. Though he enjoys experimenting with subject matter, his playful work is consistently fun to look at.
Clement is currently working towards his next group show and has plans to launch an online shop selling his prints and a range of other products. We always look forward to his latest. This is just that, created for an advertising client, various exhibitions and Migrate magazine.
