This week in advertising we’re trying our luck at winning an overseas adventure by making Anne Hirsch sweat. We’ve also been given a new perspective on Taxi drivers as Joburg’s own jockeys, and we’ve caught a glimpse of the television on offer in Mongolia, Ecuador and Kazakhstan.

  1. Are the SABC TV licence ads not just a tad culturally insensitive?

  2. @Daniel, pretty darn culturally insensitive… and while we’re about it, why not compare our brand to the lowest common denominator? Doesn’t exactly inspire, does it?
