In this vibrant spot for DSTV by Ogilvy & Mather Johannesburg titled Die Trompet, Bouffant director Thabang Moleya once again showcases his talent in comedy and performance direction.

The ad shows a young boy sitting among a group of elderly gentlemen, conversing with them and emulating their actions and lingo. He gets on his feet moved by the trumpet on the jazz playing in the background and proceeds to proclaim that the music ‘kids of today’ listen to is the cause of many health issues for grown men such as themselves, much to his eavesdropping mother’s surprise and displeasure. The mother, feeling like her son spending too much time with Uncle Joe, Uncle Stunki and the like is a problem, gets DStv Compact to keep the boy entertained with countless hours of children’s programmes.
