This moving new short film by FoxP2 and directed by Dave Meinert tells the story of Philani, a young man and movie enthusiast whose life is reduced to darkness by keratoconus, an eye disease that rendered him almost completely blind. “One day when I woke up I could not see anything”, he says, “it was like a cloud”. Without sight, Philani’s once vibrant world withered away, as did the prospects of ever being able to see again due to the high cost of the surgery required to correct this ailment. This film however is part 1 of Philani’s story, which will see him receive a double corneal transplant made possible by Ster-Kinekor’s Vision Mission. 1. Oh man I have the same eye problem I hope mine doesn’t deteriorate. I would recommend watching lots of movies but there are so many categories. Meet the parents is funny, xmen origin, and see what movies are in the top 20 9n rotten tomatoes.
