HelloComputer x CPB

A unique gift package made by HelloComputer (www.hellocomputer.com) that was sent to Crispin Porter & Bogusky (http://www.cpbgroup.com/) as a gesture of goodwill after the completion of the Bcycle Project.

A plush version of HelloComputer’s mascot, “Hal” was taken to various destinations around Cape Town and photographed with his visiting friend, “Al” (After Alex Bogusky of Crispin Porter & Bogusky). In the hardcover book that is supplied in the package, a photographic journey takes Hal and Al from the Airport to the stadiums, and from Cape Town’s best burger joints to it’s most respected Tattoo parlors.

HelloComputer also put together an online gallery (www.hellocomputer.com/halandal) so you can check out some of the pictures included in the book. With design, art direction and illustration by HelloComputer, the plush toy Hal was created by the fabulously talented Danielle Clough (We love Eskies!). We’re sure that this package will grab the attention of HelloComputer’s new found friends, one of USA’s most successful advertising firms, Crispin Porter + Bogusky.

B-cycle – Bike Sharing Website by Hellocomputer

HelloComputer recently teamed up with world wide wonder agency, Crispin Porter + Bogusky on the revolutionary B-cycle initiative.

B-cycle is bringing bike-sharing to the United States, as well as being an initiative backed by three world-class organizations: Humana, Trek and Crispin Porter + Bogusky. All three share one common goal: Cultural change- B-cycle will change the way you get around and that will change our communities. HelloComputer believe strongly in this ethos, making this the perfect project to contribute to.

With an increasing consciousness of eco-friendly practices, HelloComputer and Crispin Porter + Bogusky are confident that this initiative has the legs to alter mind-sets as well as make a global impact, with a bit of luck all the way to the southern hemisphere.

Scotland from Home

Great new first-of-its-kind campaign by 2.0 Media for Jupiter Drawing Room Cape Town. The campaign is created for Brandhouse.

Designed as a mock TV show, each of the five two-minute minisodes represent a humorous spoof on the contemporary cooking-show genre of which Keith Floyd and Jamie Oliver are most famous. The show takes viewers on a visual tour across Scotland’s famous Speyside district with invented “celebrity-chef and whiskey connoisseur” Bruce Campbell. Traveling from distillery to distillery in his clapped-out camper-van, Campbell, makes laughable attempts to replicate iconic whiskeys, which include Johnny Walker Black Label, Johnny Walker Red Label, Bells Whiskey, J&B Rare, and The Singleton Whiskey, using his home-made methods.

Scotland from Home also extends on a blog, Facebook and Twitter.

HelloComputer are proud to have been awarded the FWA Site of the Day for their Loeries Digital Campaign. The Favourite Website Awards (FWA) was established in May 2000, to recognize the latest and best cutting edge website designs.

The Feed your Ego game celebrates the Loerie Awards with this viral campaign that invites users to battle against industry egos to win the ultimate crown.

The Bookmarks Awards 2009

The Bookmarks 2009 has recently launched their latest site for the 2009 Awards Ceremony. The Bookmarks is known as the digital version of Loeries and focuses strongly on digital execution and ROI rather then pure creative.

This years Awards ceremony will be held in Johannesburg, although the final venue will still be confirmed. Entries to the Awards will open on the 14th of August. Judges for this event has been confirmed: Fernando Romano (Global Creative Director for Digital and Experiential at Euro RSCG), Chris Colburn (Chief Experiential Office at R/GA New York), Pete Case (CEO of Gloo), JP Farihna (CEO of 24.com), Rob Stokes (CEO of Quirk).

The Be Big In Digital logo was designed by Hello Computer, the site was styled and built by Stonewall+, with conceptual work being done by Lowe Bull.
