Tennant McKay’s Campaign For Shaw Canada
Tennant McKay is a Johannesburg based multi-disciplinary design company, specialising in visual communication and directing people’s ideas through design, regardless of media platform.
These good people are passionate about creating smart, strategic and memorable work for their clients, consistently deliver relevant and engaging solutions, regardless of scale or budget. Boom.
The work featured here is only a fraction of a campaign done for Shaw, a leading Canadian telecommunications company. Tennant McKay developed a commercial called ‘Kung Fu’, a 3D typographic narrative with 2D character animated sub-narrative. The story takes place in an abstract, flat colour and graphic world.

Stonewall+ recently launched the new Lexus IS campaign site. Using the concept of Nanosites, the whole campaign site will be repurposed into banner executions.
Submachine – Ring of Fire
A twisted story of evolution, with a happy ending. Written and directed by Juniper, whilst she was still at Picture Tree. The Flash animation was done by Angie and Jonno at Department Fu. Having such unbelievable fun making this music video was the main reason why Juniper decided to join them. This video was also edited by Juniper. All the scenes were emailed through to her and edited in Final Cut Pro.
