Verb exhibition launches at THE STREET in Joburg
After an incredibly successful launch exhibition at the Wessel Snyman Creative Gallery in Cape Town, Verb is moving its exhibition of limited artist series skateboard artworks and screenprinted posters to Joburg.
The exhibition features the works of 12 prominent as well as up and coming South African artists and a few Between 10and5 regulars. The artists involved are Louis Minnaar, Alice Edy, Jordan Metcalf, Black Koki, Christian Mugnai, Matt Edwards, Wesley van Eeden, Kronk, Theory One, Bison, 371073 and Bruce Mackay. The exhibited works include limited editions of 10 skateboard artworks from each artist as well as limited editions of 20 screenprinted posters from each artist.
The exhibition launches at 5pm this evening, Thursday 8 July, at THE STREET, 135/7 Greenway Road, Greenside, Joburg and runs for 2 weeks before closing on Thursday 22 July. Drinks and snacks are provided for the launch night.
Verb Poster Exhibition
For those in Pretoria and Joburg, head to Menlyn Mall or Cresta shopping centre on the 5th of June to view a collection of hand screenprinted posters by SA artists for Verb.

Nothing is Everything exhibition by Word of Art
Word of Art hosts another group exhibition title Nothing is Everything on the 15th of April to 15 May 2010. It’s held at the Woodstock Industrial Centre and features artists Murray Turpin, Louis Minaar, Dathini Mzayiya,Hein Coetzee, Kudzanai Chiurai, Senyol, Faith47, Black Koki, Ree Treweek, 351073, The Gugulective and Lindsey Levendall of Bison.
Should be good.
RamFest Murals
