Nando’s latest television commercial is a send-up of South Africa’s parliament ministers. Their high-flying spending is used to contrast the latest, good-value offer from Nandos – three peri-peri wings and chips for only R19.95.
Conceptualised by ad agency Black River F.C., they chose to partner Fresh Eye director, Cindy Lee.

We’ve managed to get our hands on the new Nando’s TV commercial which is to flight for the first time tonight. This is what they have to say:
This was a pro-active idea which was first presented to Client in form of a little 1 colour, A5 leaflet, which the restaurants could use as local marketing. Ahmed, Sindiwe and Sifiso decided to take the idea and develop it into a TVC (again pro-actively). Client loved the idea so much that it is now our National Campaign.
There were loads of new people, who worked on this job, and made it all happen. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work, your can do attitude, and your amazing colourful personalities, it was loads of fun, and oh did I mention, it was all done in 3 weeks!
