Voice Magazine: Call for submissions

Voice Magazine, the newly launched digital magazine that we featured a while ago, is opening up their call for submissions. Download their submission form here and send it off to them. Click through for a preview.

As an evolving publication in an evolving medium, we thought long and hard as to how to represent the global phenomenon of online networks and self-promotion. To make things easier for ourselves we sought after what brings us all together despite our differences of physical locations and local traditions.

We realised that being human is the answer to this question and discovered that we are all searching for answers that can be categorised under the five headings of our brief. We are excited to explore and interact with how different people see and prioritise these levels of the human psyche.

The deadline for contributions is Wednesday 20 May, but you might be able to twist their arm…

Voice Magazine invites everyone to interpret the BRIEF: LOVE; HURT; PRIDE; WORK; FUTURE through any medium they see fit. This is an exciting aspect for us as we hope to get insight from all ages, nationalities, genders and trades; and will get us closer to our mission of creating a true VOICE for everyone. Voice welcomes open interpretation through writing, poetry, film, music, design, photography or any medium we have carelessly over looked.

Usually reserved for established professionals in any field from public figures to fishermen, from lawyers to filmmakers.
Such participants are interviewed with the BRIEF: LOVE; HURT; PRIDE; WORK; FUTURE and answer in written form. This aspect of the magazine doubles as a profile for those featured where readers can explore further through the links to their online portfolios, businesses or initiatives.

Each issue will feature portfolios of selected photographers, graphic designers, fashion designers, architects or any creative field or discipline.

Voice Magazine selects a playlist of music to be featured with each issue. Songs are mainly selected from myspace profiles of unsigned bands and musicians; however, Voice will consider any musical contribution whether it is produced at home on your laptop or a top selling international artist.

Voice Magazine allows for video content. Each issue will feature a selection of music videos, independent movie trailers and/or short films from all corners of the world and sub cultures.
