Jack Daniel’s has launched a new TV advertising campaign in South Africa. Flighting on eTV along with an assortment of DSTV channels, the ad takes the viewer on a lyrical, cinematic journey inspired by the JD black and white label.
Storytelling, a cultural pastime within the South African context, forms an important part of the brand’s history. From the story behind Jack the man, to the colourful life he lived and the award-winning whiskey he produced, the stories surrounding the Jack Daniel’s brand have been told for over 150 years.
Brand New School, the US directing collective together with Arnold Worldwide created the ad that touches on the possible origins of the number 7.
