Steri Stumpie, South Africa’s best loved flavoured milk drink, has launched a new phase of its award winning social media campaign. Dubbed the Flavour Nation, the new integrated work is designed to grow the community around the brand by encouraging Steri lovers to champion their favourite flavour through very public displays of affection.

Flavour Nation brings the world of Steri Stumpie to life for fans

Cape Town, 17 May 2010: Steri Stumpie, South Africa’s best loved flavoured milk drink, has launched a new phase of its award winning social media campaign. Dubbed the Flavour Nation, the new integrated work is designed to grow the community around the brand by encouraging Steri lovers to champion their favourite flavour through very public displays of affection.

Through the newly revamped Steri Stumpie blogsite http://www.steristumpie.com/, Twitter http://twitter.com/Steri_Stumpie and the Steri Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/Steristumpie, Steri-lovers can now celebrate the different flavours that make up the Flavournation in the same way we do different races, cultures, languages, political parties, teams and groups in the country. Campaign elements include:

New official unofficial ambassador programme!

Four individuals during 2010 will be made Official Unofficial Ambassadors for the brand winning surreal prizes such as their very own marching band and a screaming teenage fan club amongst others (yet to be revealed).

Request a Steri Drop

Steri fans in need can now request emergency Steri drops via the Steri Stumpie blog. Those with the most deserving reasons to receive a drop will have the favourite flavour delivered alongside a host of Steriphenalia.

New batch of Steriphenalia

Public displays of love for the brand for consumers includes a series of new steriphenalia rewards: a kit to customise your Steri Stumpie bottles; badges; passports, bumper stickers; temporary tattoos and rosettes all championing individual flavours.
