Loeries radio spot – New Voice Award

The spot was put together by Ogilvy Cape Town (the agency working on the Loeries 2010 campaign) with aim to spread knowledge of the New Voice Award (non-English radio category, sponsored by the SABC). The award launched for the first time last year and we received over 50 entries into this category, which was a fantastic positive response. The New Voice Award is the Loeries only proactive category, which means radio ads entered do not need to have been flighted on air to be eligible. The aim of the award is to grow the use of radio in home languages (other than English) i.e. to create ads in the language specific to the target audience. The top three winning ads will receive SABC radio airtime, as well as all-expenses paid samplings of the Mother City. Entries should be submitted online by 14 June 2010.
