On Sunday, the mobile billboards were strategically placed in areas such as Rhodes Memorial, where people flocked to watch the demolition of the Athlone cooling towers from. They were also placed along routes where there would be traffic (due to people trying to get to and from good viewing spots). The Monday following the demolition of the towers, the mobile billboards were driven up and down the stretch of N2 near where the Athlone cooling towers used to be.
