On the 29th of April 2011, one of the most talked about events of the year takes place in London, England: the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Draftfcb Cape Town cleverly used the opportunity for the latest Savanna campaign. Savanna Wedding Crashers is offering one lucky crasher (and a friend) an all expenses paid trip to London to attend the royal wedding.
To enter, aspiring crashers have to concoct a believable cover story explaining how they’re linked to the royal couple. They must then phone in to Grant and Anele’s show on 5fm between the 28th of March and the 1st of April to share their story to win.
The tactical campaign covers press, radio, Youtube clips and facebook ads created by Draftfcb with Quirk eMarketing and production company Wishbones.
