Here is our experience of this year’s Toffie Pop Culture Festival in pictures. A very inspiring 3 days, take a look for yourselves.
Boamistura, a graffiti group from Madrid, created a mural in the /A WORD OF ART gallery room over the 3 festival days as part of the I ART WOODSTOCK exhibition. During their stay in South Africa they’ve been spreading their street art around Cape Town CBD and Woodstock, so keep a look out.

Church, the gift shop opened by The President and usually found at 12 Spin Street, relocated for the festival.
Paper Girl invited visitors to pick up a pen and help decorate the room and its contents – wrapped entirely in paper.

These informal ads that have received some attention around Cape Town recently are actually a project by JWT creative director, Conn Bertish. In the exhibition room, recordings he made of people calling to inquire about his various offers were played, with some hilarious results.
