In keeping you up to speed with the latest hot talents in South African, 10and5 regularly features emerging creatives who have something to show the world. Creatives like Hylton Warburton do us proud.
Hylton is a Durban-based graphic designer and illustrator. During the day he works as a designer for Modern Museum, and moonlights as an illustrator. He has been a part of the art and design scene since 2006, and loves art, music, hanging with friends, making stuff, but mostly has an obsession with children’s books – something which we think comes through quite nicely in his illustrative work shown below.
His influences and inspirations include local talents Theory1, Adam Hill, Dustin Holmes, as well as the international likes of Invisible Creature, Jim Flora and Lou Romano.
Check out his website HERE and be sure to get in contact with him if your looking for ‘an artist for hire‘.
