Shelflife – local premium streetwear brand, sneakers and graffiti supply store – has joined up with Puma to launch a custom Puma x Shelflife sneaker range. The “Train Runner” series, in men’s and ladies’ sneakers, will be launched in SA and worldwide on the 8th of August.
The design draws inspiration from local trains bold yellow & grey “caution-tape” design. South African metro trains are notoriously dangerous for many reasons, making this train system internationally famous and a highly sought after target for graffiti artists worldwide to make their mark on.
Shelflife and Puma are currently giving away tickets to the exclusive launch party in Cape Town where you’ll be able to view the range before the rest of the world. To stand a chance to win entry to the launch, all you have to do is submit any picture of a South African Train. It can be anything from the insides to the outside and does not have to include graffiti. Best photos win.
