AdVantage magazine decided to give 10 ‘younger’ agencies an opportunity to portray their interpretation of creativity in advertising today. The 10 invited to take part were digital agency Native, Studio Botes, Mick Blore of originalforever/imagineers, Am I Collective, Derrick, The Nest, Owen Kessel, PenQuin, Luma and 60 Layers of Cake. Each chose a letter from the word ‘creativity’ and were asked to portray it – visually, graphically, through words or however they thought best.

The results are currently up on MarkLives.com where you can go and vote for your fave! Find them HERE.

  1. When are South Africans going to stop ripping off McBess??! You’d think that that Design Indaba Absa game thing hit the message home – obviously not – you are so lazy you can’t even do an original ripoff – pathetic

  2. Totally agree! And to throw in some HUGE irony, the studios name is OriginalForever!! Ouch!!!

  3. Hello all, just want to thank all who voted for originalforever. however, we do admit the voting may have been “assisted” a little (we think a few others were too). So we hand all our votes (with your permission Herman) to ‘I’ as we know Gareth is doing amazing things.

We used this an exercise of how we use/infiltrate social media and can do so for our clients.

on a little side note, we are now disassociated from imagineers and operate under the originalforever banner only.

    thanks again

  4. So you cheated a voting system as a means of showing your clients how you could do the same for them? Doesn’t that entirely negate the value of what social media can do for clients??

Really so plagiarism and ‘assisted’ voting are what you offer to clients? Where do I sign up?
