A little bit of ad history right here.
Ogilvy Joburg sent us this ad made in 1978, it was the first commercial that Ogilvy produced for SAB. The production house was James Garrett who came out from London to make the commercial as TV had only been in SA for two years so local production facilities were in short supply. The now famous pay-off line – the Taste that Stood the Test of Time – was written by the late Nick Tredoux.
