01 Nov Stephen Inggs’ Legacy at Brundyn + Gonsalves
Brundyn + Gonsalves, previously known as iArt, is proud to present an exhibition by Stephen Inggs entitled Legacy. Currently the Associate Professor and Director of Michaelis UCT, Stephen Ingss has exhibited extensively overseas and in South Africa and his artworks are held in private and corporate collections worldwide namely Iziko South African National Gallery, Durban Art Gallery, University of Cape Town, Rand Merchant Bank, MTN, Sanlam, Arup London, Northwestern University and the Library of Congress in the USA.
This exhibition will include Inggs’ photographs of overlooked everyday objects displayed as large-scale, hand-coated silver gelatin emulsion prints and landscapes from his colour series Typology of Place.
Legacy will run from the 2nd to the 30th of November.
