Social Contract’s Poster Picks

It feels unreal, but we have been compiling these Poster Picks for 10and5 for just under a year, forty eight posts to be exact.

The posters we see daily can easily rival some of our favourite international poster designers’ work, and certainly some SA designers are featured regularly on the international design blogs. It feels natural for them to have a place locally to be put on display, to show the world what our designers can produce, and to show the audience that music and art should live side by side.

Christopher Bisset is first up with a beautiful poster for the Bateleur video launch of  “I’m Further Away Than I Usually Am”, also directed by Christopher.

Doktrine works with pixel fonts and chevrons to promote Reconcile This! at Origin in Durban. Sibot and Liver will burst your eardrums.

Matthew Pullen closes this post with a distressed hardcover for an epic gig including The Plastics, Red Huxley and the much talked about Shadowclub.

This is our last post for the year but we will see you soon, be safe, and enjoy the holiday season.

Posters curated by Social Contract.
