08 Feb Ed Hardy ‘Hardest Radio Spot Ever’
Everyone knows the type, the oke most likely to use the words ‘shweet’ and ‘boet’, who jols proper hard, wears Ed Hardy and can be found klapping gym nationwide.
When I first heard one of these radio spots I thought it was an ad ripping off this kind of guy but then I heard the tag line and was surprised and kind of impressed at how Ed Hardy just totally owned the stereotype.
It seems MetropolitanRepublic played into exactly what most people think of the brand and no doubt had a lot of fun doing it. Being bombarded with ads all day trying to sway our thinking about brands, makes this is a refreshing strategy.
This Ed Hardy energy drink campaign consists of 3 radios ads – all rolled into one here for your listening convenience.
