The launch of the Nokia Lumia 800 with Windows phone in SA called for a major inter-agency collaboration. The launch campaign over January and February so far has seen events, activations – free makeovers, pop up coffee stalls, impromptu live theatre in traffic – and now the digital launch all based on the tagline ‘The Amazing Everyday’.
Yesterday and today has seen some of the largest daily news and lifestyle websites in SA – News24, MyGaming, MyBroadband, Timeslive – being taken over by Nokia branding. The total booking is expected to gather an over 2.2 million impressions in a single day and will be seen twice on average (unduplicated, this accounts for 15% off all internet traffic for the day). Woah.
