Ireland Davenport was briefed to make a TV ad as progressive and advanced as the new BMW M5. They said, “We needed to create an ad as unique as the iconic M5, which demonstrated the speed of this car, as well as highlighted the ground-breaking approach of BMW.”
This is the result, a super fast commercial which utilizes digital satellite television HD PVR technology to allow PVR users to play back the ad in slow motion to pick up the details. For those without PVR, the quick version of the ad illustrates the speed of “the fastest car BMW has ever made.”
The interactive PVR ad is the first of its kind and cleverly gets 90 seconds of airtime for the price of 30 seconds.
