Play Braamfontein joined up with filmmakers Lebo Rasethaba and Liam Lynch to create an interactive guide to the central Johannesburg neighbourhood.
Over the last few years Braamfontein has become a great example of the buzzwords urban renewal. With the thriving success of the Neighbourgoods Market, pop-up shops, gallery openings and restaurants in the precinct, Play Braamfontein decided to create an experience that allows the public to come through to the area at any day of the week and get a sense of the growing community.
The idea is to pick up ‘A Guide To Braamfontein’ from POST, spot the QR codes at the locations indicated on the map, and scan the QR codes on your smart phone or tablet to watch videos made by Lebo and Liam about each space. The videos feature the stories behind the places and give you a glimpse into the personalities involved in the exciting progress being made in the area. Scroll down to watch the videos.
