kykNET ‘Nothing’s Put On’ Print Ads

These extreme up close and graphic print ads were made by Ogilvy Joburg for Afrikaans TV channel KykNET. The agency explains the concept as, “Launched by satellite operator DStv in October 1999, it’s since become a local hit through its mix of actuality and reality shows presented by average South Africans instead of presenters or celebs, thus the translation ‘Nothing’s put on’.”
