Red Bull recently launched their new Special Editions flavour range of Cranberry, Lime & Blueberry with the help of digital communication agency Trigger Isobar, and the campaign message, “Wings for every taste”.


The integrated campaign links the physical with the digital by inviting citizens of Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban to tweet with the hashtags #rededition for Joburg, #silveredition for Durban and #blueedition for Cape Town to see their city lit up first on the 5th of November. On Guy Fawkes Day, Red Bull Special Editions promises to ‘light up your city in a way you have never seen before.’


Participators can also enter on the website to win a Red Bull experience at Sonar Festival in Spain, the Europe stop on the Red Bull Crashed Ice tour or at the Red Bull Art of Motion in Greece.


Also part of the launch campaign are interactive touch screens connected to Special Editions vending machines where users are invited to view product info, play an interactive game and fill in their info to get a free can of Red Bull Special Editions to try out. The user can opt in for Red Bull communication, after which mailers would be sent to them the following Monday informing them of their topscores.
