11 Feb Guide to DI 2013: Emerging Creatives
For us, the most exciting part of the Design Indaba Expo is Emerging Creatives, a platform for young designers. This year’s Emerging Creatives have just been announced, selected from a record 190 entries.
Sponsored by the Department of Arts and Culture, the initiative exposes the young talent to the public and to industry professionals, including local and international buyers and media.
The programme is open to students, new graduates or anyone entering their chosen creative field for the first time. Although aimed at development, applicants are selected based on the standard and quality of their work.
