11 Mar Out of Office | Post
Post, on the corner of Juta and De Beer Streets in Braamfontein is a favourite with the freelance creative crowd. This little glass fronted roadside spot is part of the 70 Juta Street complex, and is the perfect place to pop in for a quick breakfast and coffee, or to spend a few hours working.
The atmosphere is friendly, and there’s a constant flow of people through the doors. A few hours there and you’re bound to bump into at least a handful of people you know. This makes it a good place for networking, and relieving the cabin fever that can set in with too much time working from home/the office.
Although Post offers free Wi-Fi, it’s a little unpredictable and is often unavailable. This is apparently being addressed.
Post is managed by Dave, who is also the resident chef. The menu is simple, with a small range of options, but done well. There are breakfasts, coffees, an interesting range of different sandwiches to choose from, as well as homemade lemonade and granadilla ice-cream.
