Cape Town Fish Market | Kids Menu

Lowe Cape Town plays on parents’ paranoia in this 6 ad print campaign for Cape Town Fish Market’s kids menu. The ads feature some pretty unsavoury scenarios with the world’s worst babysitter and suggest bringing the kids with to Cape Town Fish Market instead. The really great type treatment and illustration is by David Maclennan.

  1. Cannes you feel, the love tonight?

I can’t. This campaign just doesn’t make sense…using a kiddies menu for a fish restaurant as the selling point…doesn’t seem relevant enough. The photography’s nice though. (Except that creepy face in the panties ad) But other than that…

  2. The babies parents couldn’t take the child with to dinner seeing as they went to a place with no kids menu. Hence the baby sitter.

  3. 6 print ads advertising a kiddies menu? Reeeeeeeeally?

  4. nice work, some darkness there. i still loved the tv ads they did for cape town fish market.

  5. Looks like the babysitter’s also getting fish fingers.

  6. And some crabs.
