NSRI Sea Fever TVC

Set to a reading of John Maserfield’s poem, Sea Fever, the latest TV commercial for the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) is a moving ode to the sea. In the ad, by Ogilvy & Mather Cape Town and Velocity films, director Tristyn von Berg explores the loving, complex and, at times, even religious relationship that South Africans have with the sea.

The ad was shot at various locations in the Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal. It aims to act as a powerful and inspiring reminder that we’re able to enjoy the ocean safe in the knowledge that the NSRI volunteers are always on duty.
