Your tips to surviving the Loeries weekend?

Try your best not to remember anything, that way you will maintain the illusion that your dignity is intact.

Any Grand Prix predictions?

I need to consult my Sangoma about that one. Unfortunately he’s too busy at the moment, in consultation with hopeful creatives.

Who’s your ultimate MC for the awards shows?

Samuel L Jackson.

Ogilvy CT

Anton Visser | Velocity

The events on the top of your RSVP list?

The Velocity Party on Saturday, obviously. I’ll go to the awards on Sunday.

The 10and5 party with Los Muertos looks interesting and then I’ll be in

and out of some agency parties on Saturday night. Gonna keep it simple

this year.

Your tips to surviving the Loeries weekend?

Avoid King James Cape Town if you see them.

PJ Kensley and Roger Paulse from Singh & Sons are trouble too.

Then, I’ll make sure I eat as much free food as I can at all the parties.

Proper hydration. Maybe get myself chipped at the SPCA.

What have you entered?

I’ve got a First For Women campaign, Montego Pet Food and some other bits

and bobs. They were Cannes finalists so I’m hoping they’ll convert.

Any Grand Prix predictions?

I’m not sure there’s a TV Grand Prix this year, but I think Kim’s Standard Bank “Life Could Be A Dream” ad is a nice iconic piece of work.

Who’s your ultimate MC for the awards shows?

A more downbeat Zach Galifianakis “Between Two Ferns” scenario would be fantastic.

The events on the top of your RSVP list?

I like to keep my options open on the awards’ evenings. The festivities set the mood and winners’ parties are always good ones to pop into for a selection of dance offs and tequila shots. I hope to be partying with Joe Public and Black River because this will mean we have landed some tin.

Your tips to surviving the Loeries weekend?

Go hard on Saturday, go harder on Sunday. Don’t book an early Monday morning flight back to Jozi, make it a long weekend and stay in CT til the 25th this year. You’re welcome!

What have you entered?

This Nando’s #25Reasons campaign.

And we are entered into various categories with Joe Public for seeding this campaign.

Any Grand Prix predictions?

Hmm – I would like to see Owen Kessel / Amstel being rewarded for epic work on The Boxer / The Chef.

Who’s your ultimate MC for the awards shows?

Ricky Gervais and Sacha Baron Cohen
