If any combination of all-black ensembles, lilos, lawnmowers, golf and monogrammed dressing gowns appeals to you, you’re going to love this. Last week Friday the much anticipated music video for Beatenberg’s Chelsea Blakemore was released, and it’s a good one!
Not surprising, taking into account the dream team behind it. We all know that KOPE | FIGGINS, Bee Diamondhead and Ben Johnson are incredibly talented in their own right, so it only makes sense that when they got together with Beatenberg (Matthew Field, Ross Dorkin and Robin Brink) to make the video for Chelsea Blakemore the result turned out to be rather magical.
KOPE | FIGGINS gave us the first inclinations of what to expect in the music video with the photographs they took of Beatenberg a while back, pictured below. “I find a lot of weird inspiration from archetypal advertising and commercial imagery,” says Jonathan Kope, which does well to explain some of the thinking behind the video.
