A fast-paced, gun chase-featuring local TV ad for Act II Popcorn with an unexpected ending. The commercial was created by Volcano advertising and directed by Egg Films’ Slim and shares the news that with their new already-popped product, the usually microwaveable popcorn brand is not just for movies anymore.

  1. Hmmm…It’s a little confusing. Seems like the sentiment is that the hero is literally involved in the action of this classic movie scenario which makes the line at the end -“not just for movies anymore”- seem disconnected. Unless it’s just me. Lol.

    The way I saw it was it was supposed to mislead you into thinking you were watching a movie but in actual fact he had stumbled onto the situation in real life. I think it’s simple and smart.
